As a Math Tutor, you’ll create a fun, engaging learning environment while working with up to four students at a time in our after-school program. Using the Mathnasium Method™, you’ll help students build confidence, master concepts, and develop a genuine love for math.

• Deliver personalized math instruction for students (Kindergarten through Algebra II), with opportunities to specialize as a Geometry, or Calculus Tutor
• Track and document student progress to ensure personalized learning outcomes
• Become proficient with Mathnasium’s proven curriculum and methodology through our comprehensive paid training program
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment

• Have strong math skills through at least Algebra II (Geometry or Calculus are a plus)
• Are an excellent communicator who connects well with students
• Are eager to learn, grow, and bring positive energy to every session
• Can work at least two weekday afternoons (3–4 hours each) for after‑school tutoring, with the option of a Saturday morning shift
• No tutoring experience? No problem — we provide paid training to help you succeed.

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC (“Mathnasium”). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
