- May need to assist students with toileting and personal hygiene
- Must be able to manipulate 50 lbs safely.

This professional will be responsible for providing individual and/or small group instruction and implementing strategies to students receiving special education support under the supervision of licensed staff within the school environment (e.g. classroom, center‑based program, cafeteria, playground, community, etc.). The candidate must make independent decisions within appropriate parameters; implement team‑designed behavior intervention plans; monitor and support students during school activities; prepare and modify instructional materials;
collect data for IEP goals and behavior plans; monitor and provide feedback on student progress; maintain student confidentiality; and adapt to changes in responsibilities and schedules. Duties may include personal care, feeding, safety and supervision, medically delegated services, and providing instruction and academic support.

Starting Salary:
Grade 5 at $21.17/hour; 185 days work year calendar; 22.0 hours per week with benefits.
