Sports Instructor I - II - Youth Part-Time

$15.70 - $22.75 per hour
We are looking for a BMX Instructor to supervise and instruct BMX programs. The instructor will develop lesson plans, evaluate and assess skill level and progress of all participants. This position may require shifts ranging from morning to evening hours.
Ideal Candidate- General knowledge of BMX including rules and regulations.
- Good understanding of BMX principles, practice, and techniques.
- Ability to make proper calls on command and accept criticism.
- Ability to handle participants, team managers and/or coaches in difficult situations.
- Capable of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with fellow employees, community organizations, and the public.
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age or fifteen (15) years of age for the BMX Instructor position.
- Must have at least three (3) years of previous experience in structured programming, achieved through BMX riding, teaching, coaching, and/or competing.
