Interpret sign language into oral or written language within the school setting; provide individual and/or small group instructional strategies under the supervision of licensed staff; monitor and support students during special activities; prepare and modify instructional materials to meet language and auditory needs; collect data for IEP goals and behavior plans; monitor and provide feedback to staff on student progress. Must work effectively with a multi‑disciplinary team and demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills.

Position may require travel between schools.

• Associates Degree or completion of an Educational Interpreter Program
• Previous experience as an interpreter in an educational setting desirable

• Criminal background check required for hire.
• Educational Interpreter certificate issued by the Colorado Department of Education.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Without EIPA Authorization, must be able to pass a Boys Town Screener and EIPA Assessment within the year.
