Biomedical Engineer – Virtual Surgical Planning
We are seeking a full-time Biomedical Engineer to join our Virtual Surgical Planning team. In this role, you will work with medical imaging data to simulate surgical procedures, perform cephalometric analysis, and prepare digital models for patient‑specific 3D‑printed surgical guides and anatomical models. You will also coordinate and support virtual planning meetings with surgeons, making strong communication skills essential. This is a unique opportunity to apply engineering skills in a clinical setting and contribute directly to improving surgical outcomes.

- Interface directly with surgeons, clinical staff, and sales representatives to facilitate virtual surgical planning through phone, email, and web‑based meetings.
- Utilize CAD software to manipulate 3D anatomical models and integrate multiple datasets for precise surgical planning.
- Review and interpret patient imaging (CT and MRI) in DICOM format to identify relevant anatomical structures.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to manage multiple projects and ensure timely case completion.
- Document case‑specific details accurately and thoroughly in compliance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 0–2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a clinical, engineering, or healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with medical professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare customers and stakeholders.
