Reliability Engineer

The Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality throughout the entire lifecycle—from incoming components and manufacturing to final system validation and customer delivery. This role partners cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Suppliers to drive continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for hardware and system-level quality issues.

• Perform system-level and component-level failure analysis on servers, storage systems, and rack-level integrations.
• Analyze hardware, firmware, and system logs to identify failure patterns and contributing factors.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA), isolate failure modes and coordinate corrective/preventive actions with the vendors.
• Develop and execute failure reproduction and validation test plans.

• Reliability testing knowledge related to Quality and Manufacturing to prevent field issues.
• Provide input to improve product reliability, test coverage, and documentation.

• Support Failure Analysis (FA), RMAs, and field return investigations.
• Drive 8D / corrective action for customer-reported issues.
• Identify systemic issues and escape risks from field data.
• Participate in reliability testing and validation when required.

• Prepare FA reports, issue summaries, and customer presentations.
• Maintain clear communication with customers on status, risks, and action plans.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering within hardware, electronics, or manufacturing environments
• Hands-on experience with server systems, PCB, GPUs, or electromechanical assemblies
• Experience working with contract manufacturers and global suppliers
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

• Experience in server, storage, HPC, or data center hardware environments.
• Experience with supplier audits and process validation.
• Knowledge of reliability testing (HALT/HASS, thermal, vibration).

Salary range offered for this position is between $110,000 to $150,000 annually. This can be subject to change based on the candidate's experience level and skill set.
