Chief Operations Engineer – FLITE

Delta is seeking a Chief Operations Engineer to support the FLITE+ effort at Buckley Space Force Base. This position provides senior operational leadership for Missile Warning Integration and Test, ensuring continuous and reliable system operations through 24/7 mission support.

Anticipated start date: 1 April 2026

• Perform the role of Chief Operations Engineer for Missile Warning Integration and Test.
• Provide expert management and leadership of the Missile Warning Integration and Test operations team.
• Ensure continuous system operations through effective oversight of 24/7 operational support.
• Demonstrate expertise across all aspects of system operations and maintenance.
• Advise leadership on operational readiness, sustainment, and operational risk.

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting Missile Warning system operations and sustainment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead operational teams in high-availability, mission-critical environments.

In compliance with Colorado pay transparency laws, the estimated salary range for this position is $135,000–$205,000 annually.
