The Engineering Aide provides essential support to engineers in various projects by assisting with technical tasks, data collection, and project coordination. This role involves working closely with engineers to ensure smooth operations within the engineering department and facilitate the completion of engineering projects. The Engineering Aide is expected to perform a variety of administrative and technical duties to support engineering teams.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative and technical support to engineers on multiple projects.
- Assist with data collection, documentation, and coordination to help ensure timely project delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering staff to facilitate smooth operations within the department.
- Associates Degree in a STEM related field, related work experience and/or technical training. Completed coursework towards a related degree may be considered.
- Basic knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and terminology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and problem-solving.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day week; some schedules may be condensed, providing additional time away from the office in addition to Paid Time off benefits. - Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
- Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position varies by location and is provided as a guideline. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, and market considerations when extending an offer.
