We are the voice steering today's design decisions to drive tomorrow's production success. This Manufacturing Engineering position will support electrical Design for Manufacturing and requires in-depth knowledge of circuit cards, electronics and electronic assembly. Firm understanding of engineering drawings, parts lists, CAD coupled with innovative thinking is a must. This position will integrate with electrical design teams at the beginning of product lifecycle, supporting the entire process from initial concepts to Engineering drawing.

In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities:
• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team while staying true to production goals and how they influence design decisions.

• Provide cost trades during design cycles to describe and defend producibility choices.

• Knowledge base should include production level support manufacturing details, assembly, and test. This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Denver, Colorado , and be expected to work in the office. #LI-CS1

Basic Qualifications:

To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in an electronics manufacturing role, specifically Circuit Card Assemblies, Electronics Assemblies, Radio Frequency Electronics, micro electronics and/or harness.
• Demonstrated experience with product manufacturability, producibility, and design for cost.

• Demonstrated experience with LEAN/Six Sigma skills and ability to identify process issues/opportunities and implement cost-saving solutions (Affordability).

• Familiarity SAP (or other ERP package), and P2P applications.

• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US SECRET clearance , to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
