What does this role look like? We're seeking a Project Engineer, Sr.

Staff to join our Team. This person will become the single focal point and responsible agent for all things Financial Exposure Authorization (FEA) across the Space Enterprise. They will need to be very capable with LM inventory and business operations systems, understand how finance and supply chain support FEA, confidence engaging MSAC/LoBs/Programs to learn their requirement and keep them apprised of FEA status and impact, comfortable running boards, setting process and procedure, and take initiative to helpful create tools, references, etc.

In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities: ➥ Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. ➥ Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. ➥ Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. ➥ Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work:
Denver, Colorado , and be expected to work in the office.

Basic Qualifications:

To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, or equivalent experience/combined education;
• 8+ years of professional experience;
• Experience in Program Management or Project Management, with skills including communication, the ability to deal with unforeseen challenges, and building strong relationships;
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US TOP SECRET/SCI , to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
