About the Team

The Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) group drives innovation through hardware, algorithms, and software that enable precision control of complex systems in demanding, zero‑gravity environments. The team pushes national security and defense boundaries through digital modernization and advanced analytics.

About the Role

Design, analyze, and test guidance, navigation, and control systems that enable spacecraft to operate in complex space environments. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop robust, flight‑proven GN&C solutions and ensure mission success through rigorous simulation and validation.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Perform spacecraft controls design, analysis, simulation, and testing activities.
  • Develop and validate GN&C algorithms and flight software.
  • Utilize simulation and programming tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, C++, Python.
  • Apply Kalman filtering and attitude determination techniques to mission design.
  • Support hardware integration and mission operations in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 1+ year of related experience in spacecraft controls design, analysis, simulation, and testing.
  • Experience with simulation and programming tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, C++, Python.
  • Experience with Kalman filtering and attitude determination.
  • U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance; TS/SCI with SCI, and a Polygraph exam with favorable results required for long‑term employment.
Desired Skills
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
  • Flight software development and Autocode to C++ experience.
  • Jitter analysis experience.
  • Familiarity with a GN&C hardware suite for space applications.
  • Mission operations experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative team.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors, and customers.
