Electronics Design Support Engineer II

Join Our Team as an Electronics Engineer working on the development of sophisticated avionics products in a world-class Integrated Product Development environment.

Location:

Littleton CO, near Lockheed Martin Space facility. This position does not support teleworking. Expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 with every other Friday off.

• Experience or knowledge with electronic analyses such as WCA, parts stress analysis.
• Experience or knowledge with full avionics product life cycle.
• Knowledge of the definition, interpretation, and implementation of design requirements, coordination and execution of hardware designs, development and integration of hardware for both custom and procured electronic assemblies.
• Support Manufacturing, Production, and Test activities.
• Actively monitor hardware from start of production build through Acceptance Test Program/Qualification Test program activities.
• Support component/box level test anomalies and troubleshooting activities by interfacing with appropriate stakeholders.
• Generate and review technical packages such as Engineering Change (ERB/CCB), Failure Review Board (FRB), Product Certification, Technical Interchange packages.
• Participate in engineering reviews including Change Review Board, Engineering Review Board, Quality Review Board, Material Review Board, Failure Review Boards, Design reviews, etc.

• Experience or coursework in designing and troubleshooting electronic hardware.
• 1+ years of professional experience.
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; must be a US Citizen.

• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience with electronics through the product lifecycle.
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; must be a US Citizen.

• Experience or knowledge with eWCA and/or parts stress analysis.
• Experience or knowledge with root cause and correction activities as identified in production.
• Experience or knowledge with designing electronics components to meet avionics qualification testing (vibe, shock, EMI/EMC, etc.).
• Experience or knowledge with serial bus communication protocols such as RS-422 or RS-485.
• CREO, Solid Works and/or similar CAD data modeling experience.
• Exposure to DFx Principles.
• Ability to communicate issues and additional resource needs to leadership.
• Experience or knowledge performing tolerance stack ups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint).

This position requires a DoD Secret clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.

The annual base salary range for this position in selected states is $70,100 - $123,625. For other states the range may differ. Salary reflects scope, responsibilities, experience, education, and market considerations.
