As the Structures/ Mechanical Integration Engineering Manager, you will:
• Lead a team of 20-30 engineers supporting present and future satellite programs by providing oversight, technical mentoring, career development, training, and performance reviews
• Work collaboratively with the programs your team supports and with functional leadership to manage staffing requirements and plan job assignments to sustain engineering capabilities and critical skills
• Represent the organization in internal and external stakeholder interactions by practicing Full Spectrum Leadership behaviors while facilitating the resolution of technical issues
• Oversee technical product management for program life cycles while implementing strategic initiatives for affordability and efficiency across the programs your team supports
• Maintain full command over program priorities and schedules by holding your team accountable to achieve key milestones and deliver value
• Support the acquisition of new business by generating Basis of Estimate inputs for proposals and evaluating your team's ability to execute proposed scope

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of professional experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related technical field) or equivalent experience/combined education
• Detailed knowledge of aerospace structures hardware, conversant in other mechanical systems (including flight, ground, packaging, and mechanisms), and possess a strong background in organizational processes.
• Demonstrated experience leading and/or managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Demonstrated experience building key relationships across organizations to achieve strategic and/or tactical goals
• US Citizenship required to obtain/maintain a Secret / Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance Desired

• Previous production, operations, CAM, proposal, and/or IPT lead experience
• Willingness to mentor and develop junior engineers
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills
