Pay: $104,500 – $184,115/year
(Major metro CA/MA/NY range: $120,100 – $208,150/year)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer, Product Lead IV to support the development and certification of Flight Computer (FC) avionics systems for the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program within a highly collaborative aerospace and defense environment. This role is responsible for leading cross-functional engineering efforts supporting avionics product development, integration, certification, troubleshooting, and mission assurance activities for mission-critical aerospace systems.

The ideal candidate has strong analog and digital electronics experience, aerospace product leadership expertise, and experience supporting full aerospace electronics lifecycle activities within complex engineering organizations. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Lead cross-functional engineering teams supporting development and certification of Flight Computer avionics products

• Support avionics hardware integration, certification, and mission assurance activities for NGI systems

• Participate in engineering reviews, Engineering Material Review Boards (EMRB), and Failure Review Boards (FRB)

• Resolve test anomalies through troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities

• Support development of End Item Data Packages supporting product certification and assembly integration

• Manage engineering risks and develop mitigation plans supporting quality, cost, schedule, productivity, and mission success objectives

• Collaborate closely with subcontractors, suppliers, engineering teams, and government customers

• Support technical evaluation of designs and requirements verification activities

• Participate across multiple phases of aerospace electronic component development lifecycle activities

• Support avionics hardware integration with flight systems, MGSE, EGSE, processing equipment, and test fixtures

• Develop integration and test plans supporting environmental testing and subsystem/system integration execution

• Support highly collaborative aerospace and missile defense engineering environments requiring strong communication and technical leadership

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline

• Experience supporting development of analog and/or digital electronic circuitry

• Experience serving as a Responsible Engineer or technical lead supporting analog and/or digital electronics

• U.S. Citizenship required

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance Additional Qualifications

• Experience certifying avionics hardware and associated flight system interfaces for aerospace applications

• Experience integrating electronics with flight systems, MGSE, EGSE, processing equipment, and test fixtures

• Experience developing integration and test plans supporting environmental and ground testing activities

• Strong presentation and technical communication skills

• Knowledge of subsystem and system requirements processes

• Experience testing multiple CCA types

• MRB Certification preferred

• Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics

• Aerospace or missile systems experience preferred

• Experience supporting system performance monitoring and evaluation activities

• Strong electrical troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

• Experience utilizing test and measurement equipment
