Systems Engineer - Mid Career

Basic Qualifications

• Experience and full knowledge of processes in one or more of the following areas:
• Systems Engineering approach and processes
• Requirement definition, decomposition, and allocation
• Interface definition (ICD, IBDs, IDDs)
• Missile system analyses used in requirement derivation and verification
• Planning and coordinating Hardware and/or software testing for verification
• Performing System Integration
• Support to major reviews
• Writing Specifications
• DOORS

• Derive requirements and interfaces and support specification development in DOORS
• Be accountable for developing, updating, coordinating, and supporting verification of a subsystem requirement specification
• Support the full life cycle of assigned subsystems or components all the way through development, test, analysis, verification, and flight test
• Support assessments of key performance parameters, technical performance measures, and requirement compliance
• Support formal system design reviews
• Support interface definition and integration of subsystems and components across the broader system
• Participate in interdisciplinary engineering efforts necessitating adaptability and flexibility in response to evolving program requirements and timelines across geographically dispersed locations
• Use excellent communication skills and self-motivating drive to promote a positive teamwork culture

• Active or current Secret Security Clearance
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited college
• Customer interface experience
• Experience with one or more of the following:
• Presenting at major reviews
• Missile system experience
• Mat Lab, and/or other analysis tools
• Hardware/Software Development
• Missile or Weapon System Development
• Performance, Functional, or Software
• CONOPS or Architecture Development
• Support to System Level trade studies
