What We’re Looking For4+ years related Bridge Design Experience At minimum a BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University
MS in Civil Engineering is preferred
Ideal candidates will be within 6 months of obtaining a valid PE Possesses specialized knowledge in one or more areas of bridge analysis and design (for example: concrete analysis, time dependent post-tensioned concrete, seismic, foundations, etc.).
What You’ll Do:
Identify complex problems, evaluate options, and suggest/implement solutions.
Effectively manage time and resources in the execution of their duties and responsibilities.
Mentor entry level engineers
Use computer assisted design and drafting software.
Use more advanced engineering analysis software.
Design, detail and create contract plan sheets for bridge related projects.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, Project Managers, administrative supervisor, other team members, clients and subcontractors.
Receive and convey ideas and information effectively, both orally and in writing, with co-workers, Project Managers, administrative supervisor, other team members, clients, and subcontractors
Produce project related internal and external correspondence.
