Avionics Circuit Design Engineer
Avionics Circuit Design Engineer where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state‑of‑the‑art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.
LocationLocation:
Littleton, CO near Lockheed Martin Space facility. This position does not support teleworking and requires full‑time onsite presence. Flexible 9x80 schedule (3 days in a 10‑day period) is required.
- Design and capture electrical schematics and guide board layouts.
- Perform electrical Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on the development and integration of world‑class avionics systems.
- Resolve test anomalies, troubleshooting, and generation, review, and presentation of Product Certification. Support system‑level testing.
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- 3+ years professional experience in aerospace hardware development cycle.
- Experience supporting technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
- Experience interacting with peers, management, and government customers.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentations.
- Missile design experience.
- Active DoD Secret clearance; US Citizen required.
- Experience with design, test, operations, and systems engineering disciplines.
- Experience in schematic capture using Xpedition or similar tools.
- Experience with PSPICE, Saber, or other electronics simulation tools.
- Experience performing electronics analysis (Worst Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis).
- Experience performing failure investigation on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic, collaborative environment and build consensus.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Adaptability, self‑initiative in solving complex problems.
- Effective teamwork in diverse environments.
Position requires a government security clearance. Active DoD Secret clearance required; US Citizen necessary.
