SummaryRedwire Space Missions, LLC has an opportunity for an Associate, Test Engineer at our facility in Littleton, CO. Responsibilities- Devise testing plans, methods, and equipment to assure reliability of product in conjunction with requirements
- Provide test area and facility with parameters for testing and specify tests to be performed
- Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, or new testing requirements
- Perform environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms using established procedures. Tests include static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration
- Operate spaceflight hardware and test fixtures using data acquisition system and established procedures
- Attach and remove components on spaceflight hardware
- Inspect mechanical and electrical components after test completion
- Perform maintenance on test fixtures
- Idea generation of potential process improvements
- Assist with non‑conformance investigations
- Bachelor’s Degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science) or related field with one or more years of relevant experience
- Experience designing, developing and implementing test methods
- Experience with common aerospace test and assembly and inspection tools, e.g., torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, multimeters
- Experience assisting with writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing
- Experience developing test scripts
- Understanding and experience with quality management systems such as AS9100
- Excellent manual dexterity, ability to handle small parts such as fasteners as small as #0‑80
- Experience using electronics equipment, e.g., DMMs, power supplies, DAQs, etc.
- Strong technical capability and mechanical inclination, with ability to follow and execute procedures
- Experience working in an Aerospace cleanroom environment – preferred
- Understanding of advanced electronic circuitry
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as autonomously
- Ability to provide intuitive and timely solutions for immediate prototype production
- Effective communication abilities, attention to detail and self‑motivated
- Possess strong problem‑solving and communication abilities
- High standard of quality workmanship
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills
$74,500 – $80,500 / yr.

We evaluate external equity, cost of labor, prevailing wage, and marketplace considerations for jobs comparable to ours. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing room for future growth. Salaries are based on the applicant’s experience, education and specialized skills. We also consider the external market rate, internal budget and equity within the company.
An employee with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
