Join Our Team as an Electronics Engineer where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state‑of‑the‑art avionics product in a world‑class Integrated Product Development environment.
Location:This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full‑time.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:- Experience or knowledge with electronic analyses such as WCA and parts stress analysis.
- Experience or knowledge with the full avionics product life cycle.
- Knowledge of defining, interpreting, and implementing design requirements, coordinating and executing hardware designs, and developing and integrating hardware for both custom and procured electronic assemblies.
- Support manufacturing, production, and test activities.
- Actively monitor hardware from the start of production build through Acceptance Test Program / Qualification Test program activities.
- Support component/box‑level test anomalies and troubleshooting activities by interfacing with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., Certified Test Conductors, Quality Engineering, Program Leadership).
- Generate and review technical packages (including but not limited to Engineering Change [ERB/CCB], Failure Review Board [FRB], Product Certification, Technical Interchange packages) as required.
- Participate in engineering reviews such as Change Review Board, Engineering Review Board, Quality Review Board, Material Review Board, Failure Review Boards, and Design reviews.
- Experience or coursework in designing and troubleshooting electronic hardware.
- 1+ year of professional experience for this role.
- Although no clearance is required to start, you must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.
- Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Experience with electronics through the product lifecycle.
- Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; you must be a US Citizen.
Skills:
- Experience or knowledge with electronic Work‑Center Analysis (WCA) and/or parts stress analysis.
- Experience or knowledge with root‑cause and correction activities identified in production.
- Experience or knowledge designing electronic components to meet avionics qualification testing (vibration, shock, EMI/EMC, etc.).
- Experience or knowledge with serial bus communication protocols such as RS‑422 or RS‑485.
- CREO, Solid Works, and/or similar CAD data‑modeling experience.
- Exposure to DFx principles (Design for Affordability, Design for Manufacturability, etc.).
- Ability to communicate issues and additional resource needs to leadership.
- Experience or knowledge performing tolerance stack‑ups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint).
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level:Secret
Schedule for this Position:9x80 every other Friday off.
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.
