Position Overview
Systems Engineer – Integration and Test responsible for coordination and development of a new Test Program for the next generation of Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) hardware.
Key Responsibilities- Support requirements definition for new labs and missile tests, develop an Integrated Test Program Plan, and participate in test execution at various levels.
- Perform systems hardware/software integration, test planning, and execution.
- Support development of products needed to conduct missile hardware/software testing at factory and launch sites.
- Support the generation of system test requirements.
- Maintain excellent organization and troubleshooting skills; be proficient in understanding hardware/software design, requirements generation, product development, test execution, and verification activities.
- Experience with testing and problem solving at various levels of integration.
- Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.
- Experience with one or more Systems Integration functions such as:
- System trade studies and/or System modeling
- Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
- System Integration, Test and/or Verification
- Test planning and execution with understanding of interdependencies
- Experience in Space Vehicle (SV) Test Operations including the test development process, execution, data analysis, anomaly resolution, and electrical ground test equipment.
- Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change.
- Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members.
- Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering, INCOSE Certification, or a relevant Graduate Certificate.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
This position requires a government security clearance. The candidate must be a US Citizen. Clearance level:
Top Secret.
