Structural Bridge Design
- CADD Technician with knowledge of Micro Station or AutoCAD drafting software
- Experience in 3D modeling in the BIM environment
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co‑workers and other team members
- Ability to effectively receive and convey ideas and information with co‑workers and other team members
- Associate Degree in Engineering Drafting and Design (Preferred)
- Draft plans and detailed drawings for transportation projects such as bridges and highways, working from sketches or notes
- Develop 3D models of bridges and associated structures, establish and maintain a BIM work environment consistent with client requirements
- Draw maps, diagrams, and profiles, using cross‑sections and surveys to represent elevations, topographical contours, subsurface formations, and structures
- Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from engineers to develop into contract plans
- Perform reviews of shop drawings and other construction submittals for conformance with design specifications and drawings
- Calculate pay item quantities
- Maintain technically current methodologies
- Acquire and apply new knowledge to assignments and tasks
- Perform additional tasks, assignments, and duties as assigned
