Program Planner - Level 2

Job Description

Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO seeks an experienced Level 2 Program Planner to support the next generation Space Protection Programs (SPP) Portfolio.

• Plan and manage detailed schedule networks from design, assembly, test, and into operations.
• Interface with Engineering, Finance, Business Operations, Supply Chain, and Program Management to translate authorized customer requirements into the performance measurement baseline.
• Develop and maintain compliant Integrated Master Schedules that validate contractual scope, workflow, and required resources.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to drive progress and performance, monitor changes, status, and facilitate communication between stakeholders.
• Negotiate handoffs between product areas regarding technical content and schedules, and facilitate workaround planning as needed.
• Serve as liaison by publishing and presenting planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering.

• 1+ years of professional experience in operational planning or scheduling.
• Working knowledge of scheduling tools such as MS Project Server, Open Plan, Primavera, and/or Project View.
• Ability to perform schedule integrity checks.
• Must be a United States citizen.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency with scheduling tools such as MS Project Server, Open Plan, Primavera, and/or Project View.
• Exposure to or experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
