Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Orion Systems Engineer. Be a part of the Artemis and Orion teams taking astronauts to the Moon and beyond. As a Systems Engineer on the Orion program, you will be responsible for the planning, preparation, and execution of hardware and software integration activities for the Orion Integrated Test Laboratory in support of Artemis III and future missions.

We are seeking a Systems Engineering Associate to support the Denver Integrated Test Lab (ITL) operations including:

* Artemis 3 and future mission test and operations

* Hands-on integration and troubleshooting activities

* Some 2nd shift/weekend support required

Basic Qualifications:

* B.S in Engineering or related degree from an accredited college or university

* Familiarity with mechanical and electrical engineering drawings

* Strong written and verbal communication skills and detail-oriented nature

* US Citizen

* Demonstrated behaviors of a systems problem solver; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex

problems and implement constructive change

* Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and to deliver products on schedule

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $60,200 - $106,030. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
