Basic Qualifications

- Eligibility and willingness to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance – U.S. Citizenship required
As a Project Engineer
, you will play a critical role in the development of advanced hypersonic systems for the CPS Theater Strike Weapon Systems team in Littleton, Colorado.
In this role you will:
- Manage earned value performance, metrics, and reporting for multiple control accounts across the contract lifecycle within the Systems Engineering IPTs.
- Oversee control account performance, elevate concerns and issues to program management, and coordinate with other control account managers.
- Work with partnering organizations and IPTs to ensure processes are followed and product flow is smooth throughout the lifecycle.
- Identify risks and opportunities for the Risk & Opportunity Control Board and implement approved mitigation plans collaboratively.
- Conduct closed-loop corrective action, including variance analysis and monitoring of cost/schedule mitigation activities.
- Provide timely and accurate insight on program impacts or opportunities to the IPT lead and/or Program Manager.
- Address second-level questions related to headcount, resource constraints, or safety and quality issues.
- Complete all earned value management duties, including work authorization requests, estimate at complete reviews, schedule status, variance reporting, and comprehensive estimates at completion.
- Accept responsibility, accountability, and exercise authority to ensure cost, schedule, and technical issues are resolved.
- Project lead experience with knowledge of program life-cycle.
- Previous experience with Proposal, BOE (basis of estimate), and/or Negotiations.
- Detail-oriented and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Desire to enhance Program Management skills, including communication and the ability to handle unforeseen challenges.
- Desire to drive process efficiency and improve the execution of the EVM business rhythm.
- Previous/current CPS program experience.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado.
Work ArrangementOnsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
