Position Overview
Lockheed Martin's Mission Engineering and Operations team seeks a Level 4 Mission Systems Engineer and integrator with an active Top Secret clearance to support the Concept of Operations (CONOP) development on Global Security.
Work location:
Littleton, CO.
- Work closely with a senior team member to brainstorm and manage the integration of Payload CONOPs on early‑lifecycle programs.
- Develop CONOPs for the Payload Transition Implementation Plan (TIP).
- Act as subject‑matter expert on payload subsystems, develop CONOPs specific to the payload(s) and author command sequences in Python.
- Plan and execute payload collection operations and coordinate with external teams.
- Manage payload tasking strategies, understand C2 and MM ground interfaces, and work with those teams to accomplish strategies.
Exceptional communication skills; ability to interact with multiple external teams and clearly articulate a vision. Self‑starter capable of tracking down issues and solving problems with little oversight. MID‑SR Career (Level
4) requires 5+ years professional experience and a BS degree.
- 5+ years of systems engineering or systems integration.
- Current Top Secret clearance.
- Experience working multiple tasks concurrently.
- Experience working with external teams.
- 10+ years of systems engineering or systems integration.
- Python experience.
- MBSE and Cameo experience.
- Experience with system of systems integration.
This position requires a government security clearance. Candidate must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Poly.
