Systems Engineer – Systems Integration (Conventional Prompt Strike)
The Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer to lead test planning, execution, integration, and overall system performance for U.S. Navy platforms. This role focuses on the integration of hardware and software within the CPS program to support the development of the first hypersonic system for the Navy.
Responsibilities- Lead test planning, execution, integration, and test efforts for various Navy platforms.
- Support requirement definition for weapon system tests, develop integrated test program plans, and participate in test execution.
- Perform systems hardware/software integration, test planning, and execution.
- Develop products necessary for vehicle hardware/software testing.
- Generate system test requirements.
- Maintain strong organization and troubleshooting skills; proficient in understanding hardware/software design, requirements, product development, test execution, and verification activities.
- Experience with one or more Systems Integration functions, including:
- System trade studies and/or system modeling.
- Requirements and interface control document (ICD) development.
- System integration, test, or verification.
- Test planning and execution with understanding of all interdependencies.
- Active or current Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field, plus a minimum of five years of industry experience (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated systems-thinking capabilities to select and apply appropriate methods for solving problems and implementing constructive change.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers.
- Missile or space segment test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering.
- Experience using automation frameworks.
- Leadership and collaboration experience in small teams; effective communication with stakeholders.
- Prior Navy shipboard integration and test experience.
