Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO is looking for an experienced, level 3 Program Planner to join our team supporting the next generation Space Protection Programs (SPP) Portfolio.
Responsibilities- Plan and manage detailed schedule networks from design, assembly, test, and into operations.
- Interface with Engineering, Finance, Business Operations, Supply Chain, and Program Management to translate authorized customer requirements into the performance measurement baseline.
- Develop and maintain compliant Integrated Master Schedules that validate contractual scope, workflow, and resources required for program execution.
- Work with cross‑functional teams to drive progress and performance, monitor changes and status, and facilitate communication between stakeholders.
- Assist in negotiating handoffs between product areas regarding technical content and schedules, and facilitate workaround planning as required.
- Serve as a liaison by maintaining, publishing, and presenting relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering.
- 3+ years of professional experience in an operational planning or scheduling capacity.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) experience with a focus on EVM compliance such as control account management.
- Working knowledge of a scheduling tool such as MS Project Server (preferred), Open Plan, Primavera, and/or Project View.
- Experience performing schedule integrity checks and critical path analysis.
- Must be a United States citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
- Extensive Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Excel experience.
- Experience with resource‑loaded schedules.
- Experience with schedule risk assessments (Monte Carlo simulations).
- Additional planning knowledge/experience (e.g., Enterprise Resource Planning or Manufacturing Resource Planning).
Top Secret clearance is required. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and possess a current active Secret security clearance.
