Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full time Orion Senior Systems Engineer  Be a part of the Artemis and Orion teams taking astronauts to the Moon and beyond  As a Senior Systems Engineer on the Orion program, you will be responsible for the planning, preparation, and execution of hardware and software integration activities for the Denver Vehicle Management Computer  VMC  Test Bench  VTB , Support Software Development Lab  SSDL , and Orion Utility Network Lab  OUNL  in support of Artemis III and future missions

- Lead responsible for daily test lab scheduling, status, and user coordination

- The candidate ideally has a background in system and/or subsystem test and integration

- Willing/able to support test shifts in the Orion Test Labs with occasional evening and weekend shift assignments

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* - B S in Engineering or related degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent combination of education and experience

- 3  years of experience in integrated avionics and software test environment

- Demonstrated experience effectively managing projects and interfacing with customers

- Willing to work extended hours, including 2nd shifts and weekends, in support of test activities

- US Citizen Required to perform this task

Skills:

* - Current or former Certified Test Conductor  CTC  with test engineering experience using Automation Framework

- Familiarity with Orion spacecraft architecture, subsystems and Orion Flight Software architecture

- Capable of working in a fast paced environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules

- Works effectively independently and as part of a team

** Work Schedules:
** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees   Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed   These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits

** Schedule for this Position:
** 9x80 every other Friday off

** Pay Rate:
