Please join us as an Electronics Design Engineer
, where you will work on the production and integration of the Telemetry (TLM) avionics on the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program.
Location:
This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton, CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

Responsibilities- Work on a cross-functional team to support the supplier in the development, production and certification of the Telemetry avionics subcontract.
- Participate in design reviews, Engineering Material Review Board (EMRB) hardware discrepancy decisions, and Failure Review Board (FRB) as required.
- Resolve test anomalies through troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Generation of End Item Data Package for Product Certification, and integration of assemblies into system.
- Manage risk and identify mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, schedule, and mission success objectives.
- Experience in the development of analog and digital electronics.
- Experience working with suppliers in development of avionics electronics components/units.
- Familiarity with engineering processes.
- Proficiency with end item hardware development.
- Familiarity with processes on failure investigation (root cause analysis, Failure Review Boards, etc.).
- Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
- Experience in different phases of aerospace electronic component development cycle.
- Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.
- Proficiency in presentations and in written communications.
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship.
- Security Clearance:
DoD Secret; US Citizenship required. - Other Information:
Onsite full-time work at a Lockheed Martin facility; 9x80 schedule; 5-30 day consideration window for applications.
