Overview
Position: RF Engineering Associate Manager – Littleton, CO
Type: Full‑time onsite (not hybrid) – 9x80 schedule, every other Friday off
Lockheed Martin Space is expanding its RF Engineering team to deliver advanced RF payloads for our Global Security portfolios. In this role, you will design, develop, integrate, test, verify, and validate complex RF systems and lead a technical staff of payload analysts and initialization specialists.
Responsibilities- Lead or oversee trade studies ensuring all technical and programmatic impacts are considered.
- Coordinate across all program engineering and manufacturing organizations to meet Payloads mission needs.
- Build the talent pipeline: hiring, managing, and training RF Engineering resources.
- Evaluate engineering personnel for performance reviews, promotions, and recognitions.
- Experience with RF systems and design for space‑rated hardware.
- Experience collaborating with major engineering disciplines including systems engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, integration, and/or verification.
- Experience establishing milestones and monitoring adherence to master plans and schedules, identifying program problems, and obtaining solutions such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
- Experience as a CAM (Control Account Manager).
- Strong self‑starter who can take initiative and work independently with minimal direction.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence across stakeholders effectively.
- Strong knowledge of EVM and CAM goals.
- Experience supporting and executing proposals.
- Demonstrated success shaping and leading a team in a dynamic business environment.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers and senior Leadership.
- Strong organizational, planning and time‑management skills.
- Ability to lead multi‑functional teams and coordinate efforts toward common goals.
- Detailed knowledge of the program life cycle, including design reviews, requirements, system, integration and test, and operations.
- Proven customer intimacy skills to build and maintain solid relationships.
- Demonstrated people‑management skills: mentoring, coaching, performance management, and team development.
- Knowledge of Risks, Critical Path, Scheduling, and Business Acumen.
- Active TS/SCI with Poly.
U.S. Citizenship is required. Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility and maintain TS/SCI with SCI eligibility and Poly over the long term.
CompensationAnnual base salary range: $123,500 – $217,695 (based on location). Additional compensation may be offered based on skillset and experience.
