The GPS IIIF program seeks a Subsystems‑level Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead within the Spacecraft Bus IPT to direct all phases of program work from inception through completion for a subsystem. The role is responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance within the IPT Control Accounts and for reporting and communicating performance and status to the GPS Program Management Office (PMO) and Customer.

prepare proposals, establish initial baselines, conduct rolling wave planning, submit budget change requests, create work authorization documents, manage active LOE and headcount, align supplemental schedule with IMS. - Technical: act as primary customer contact for program activities, lead program review sessions, coordinate with engineering to ensure all program/product requirements are met for qualification, functional/physical configuration audits, and hardware acceptance; manage daily execution of product delivery with Supply Chain and Production/Test, including employee work assignments, skills gaps, critical resource deconflicts, and daily issue resolution.
The GPS IIIF program is currently on contract for Space Vehicles (SV) 11 through 24; the majority of Bus products have been delivered for SV 11‑14. The GPS IIIF Bus is an LM2100 platform and consists of the following subsystems:
Attitude Control (ACS), Avionics, Battery, Electrical Power (EPS), Harness, Mechanisms, Propulsion, Solar, Structures, and Thermal. In this role, the Lead will serve as Control Account Manager (CAM) and oversee multidisciplinary teams to meet the program objectives of the subsystems they lead.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and 5+ years experience in an engineering and production setting.
- Experience guiding the successful completion of significant projects and/or multi‑discipline team efforts.
- Experience managing project budgets, analyzing cost variances, and monitoring key performance indicators.
- Understanding of program, functional, and process metrics including Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Ability to communicate across organizational levels and functionalities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.
- Experience with Spacecraft Bus Products and expertise with one or more of the subsystems.
- Experience with part procurement and understanding of SAP ERP.
- Experience working closely with subcontractors and subcontract management.
- Project Management Experience.
- Control Account Management (CAM) experience within the last 5 years.
This position requires a government security clearance; a U.S. Citizen is required for consideration. Clearance level:

Onsite, full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. - Schedule:
9×80 with every other Friday off.
The annual base salary range in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $113,900 – $200,905. For other states, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location.
