Job Overview
Avionics Circuit Design Engineer responsible for designing electric schematics and board layouts for a state-of-the-art avionics product in a world-class Integrated Product Development environment.
Location & ScheduleOnsite near Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton, CO. No teleworking. Flexible 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off.
Key Responsibilities- Design and capture electrical schematics and guide board layouts.
- Perform electrical worst‑case analysis and electrical parts stress analysis.
- Collaborate with a cross‑functional team during development and integration of avionics systems.
- Resolve test anomalies, conduct troubleshooting, and generate, review, and present product certification documentation. Support system‑level testing.
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ year professional experience in electronic design with focus on CCA design and development.
- Experience supporting technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
- Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.
- Experience in presentations and written communication.
- Missile design experience.
- U.S. Citizen willing to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
- Missile or Space Avionics circuit design experience.
- ASIC/FPGA development experience.
- Flight and/or motor controls experience.
- Experience with design for manufacture and test.
- Experience with PSPICE, Saber or other electronics simulation tools.
- Experience performing worst‑case analysis, electrical parts stress analysis, and failure modes and effects critical analysis.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
This position requires a DoD Secret clearance. The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.

Compensation & BenefitsAnnual base salary range: $79,700 – $140,530 (state and location dependent).
