Responsibilities

As a System Engineer Sr. Staff on the Medusa program, you lead the definition, evolution and validation of the overall system architecture. In this role, you will:

  • Support the Chief Systems Engineer
  • Translate program mission objectives and stakeholder needs into requirements
  • Conduct trade studies and maintain traceability from requirements through architecture to verification
  • Develop and document the system architecture
  • Define the high‑level functional, logical and physical architectures
  • Facilitate design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and ensure compliance with standards
  • Coordinate with test and validation teams to ensure architecture supports testability and maintainability
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of subsystems
  • Communicate architectural rationale to leadership, customers and external stakeholders
Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of AGILE process
  • Proficiency with MBSE architecture tools
  • Experience in trade‑off analysis, performance modeling
  • Experience troubleshooting system level integration and testing events
  • Experience as a team or systems lead collaborating across engineering disciplines
Work Location

Onsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
