Immediate need for a Circuit Design Engineer II in Littleton, CO that enables successful manufacture, test, and delivery of critical power components for the LM2100 and LM400 satellites. As part of a central organization, our team supports a wide variety of exciting space programs and customers. This is an opportunity to provide cradle-to-grave design engineering support for critical satellite components.

• Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Prior work designing and analyzing Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA).
• 1+ years of professional experience.

• Design and develop Power electronics assemblies.
• Manufacturing and test support for (or including) defect and anomaly resolution.
• Support failure investigation processes, troubleshooting, and discrepancy resolution.
• Lead requirements management, verification, and hardware acceptance.
• Technical liaison for the hardware with both Production and Program teams.

• Aerospace power subsystem components
• Motivation to learn new concepts and skills
• DC to DC converter topologies such as Flyback, Buck and Boost
• Unit level electronics testing and troubleshooting
• Power electronics testing and troubleshooting
• Analysis or simulation of power electronics
• Engineering tools such as Zuken, LTSPICE, SIMPLIS, MATHCAD or similar products
• Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) and Electrical Part Stress Analysis (EPSA)
• Problem solving and electronics troubleshooting skills including root cause and failure overstress analysis
• Circuit board layout and principles
• Selection of parts for high reliability applications
• Systems engineering and requirements verification
