Job Details Responsibilities

Perform environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms using established procedures. Tests include static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration.

Inspect mechanical and electrical components after test completion to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.

Assist with non-conformance investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Utilize common aerospace assembly and inspection tools such as torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters.

Assist in writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing, ensuring clarity for all team members.

Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the aerospace or engineering industry.

Familiarity with common aerospace assembly and inspection tools, including torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters.

Experience assisting with writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing (preferred).

Experience working in an aerospace cleanroom environment (preferred).

Understanding of advanced electronic circuitry.

Experience using electronics equipment (e.g., DMMs, power supplies, DAQs).
