Electronics Engineer IV, Battery Design

Job Title: Circuit Design Engineer

Location: Lockheed Martin Space facility, Littleton or Englewood, CO. No teleworking. Expected to work flexible 9x80 schedule in office full-time.

• Develop battery designs for the Test Missile Kit (TMK) avionics subsystem.
• Perform and review electrical Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.
• Work on a cross‑functional team in the development and integration of world‑class avionics systems.
• Resolve test anomalies, troubleshoot, and generate, review, and present Product Certification. Support system‑level testing.

• Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
• Experience in different phases of aerospace hardware development cycle.
• Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.
• Experience in presentations and in written communication skills.
• 5+ years professional experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; must be a US Citizen.

• Electrical power supply experience.
• Demonstrated communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment and build consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members.
• Experience with missile flight electronic components and/or power distribution subsystems.
• Experience with a combination of design, test, operations and systems engineering disciplines.
• Experience in schematic capture using Zuken or similar tools.
• Experience with PSPICE, Saber or other electronics simulation tools.
• Demonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Existing Secret clearance.

• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience in battery systems design and integration.
• Ability and desire to obtain a Secret clearance which requires US Citizenship.

This position requires a government security clearance (Secret). Candidates must be US citizens.
