We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis, helping bring a varied portfolio of products to market. Our client is an industry leading Design & Manufacturing firm, serving multiple industries on an international basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced design engineer, someone returning to work, or a semi-retired engineer who wants to stay hands‑on while enjoying a better work‑life balance.

As part of our innovation center, you’ll be working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams, developing new components, improving existing designs, supporting engineering changes, and ensuring accurate CAD documentation across a range of products.

• Create and update 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Solid Works
• Implement engineering changes and design improvements
• Support manufacturing by resolving design queries and updating documentation
• Maintain CAD files, drawings and Bills of Materials
• Manage engineering documentation within Solid Works PDM Vault
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to deliver practical design solutions

• Mechanical Engineering background
• Experience with Solid Works PDM Vault highly preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or product design environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
