Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an RF Engineering Manager to join our team in Littleton, CO.

This role will drive technical, cost, and schedule execution as a Radio Frequency Associate Manager in the Space Protection Program area. You will work hand in hand with senior program and customer leadership teams to deliver mission critical RF hardware and capabilities. The position will also be responsible for the daily management of a team of RF Engineers and the delivery of space flight hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of RF fundamentals: S-Parameters, antenna theory, propagation, and microwave circuit design.
  • Technical experience in RF design for space applications, including antennas, software‑defined radios, and/or ground equipment.
  • Translate technical concepts for stakeholders and present findings to senior customer and/or program leadership.
  • Manage program schedules with Microsoft Project and apply earned‑value metrics to control costs.
  • Lead a team of RF engineers, assessing talent, providing mentorship, and facilitating professional growth.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure integration of RF solutions into spacecraft.
Basic Qualifications
  • Strong background in RF fundamentals: S-Parameters, antenna theory, propagation, and microwave circuit design.
  • Experience designing RF systems for space missions.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical information to non‑technical audiences.
Desired Skills
  • Control account management (CAM) experience.
  • Familiarity with earned‑value metrics.
  • Experience managing program schedules with Microsoft Project.
  • Team leadership skills, including talent assessment and mentorship.
  • Active TS/SCI with poly clearance.
Security Clearance / Work Authorization
  • U.S. citizen required.
  • Applicants must possess an active TS/SCI clearance prior to starting employment.
  • Selected candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w/poly for long‑term employment on the program.
