Job Description:Registers outpatient imaging patients, enters orders, and collects co‑pays as determined by the facility. Answers incoming calls promptly in a pleasant, helpful manner, triages calls, obtains accurate information for messages, and delivers messages in a timely manner. Communicates with Imaging staff regarding patient arrival times, tests, and procedures. Identifies and communicates priority items to leadership, such as scheduling problems, routing orders, critical diagnostics, and phone calls.
Performs filing, data entry, copying, and reporting as needed. Manages department correspondence and requests; routes mail, distributes memos and other material to staff, sends reports to doctor’s offices as requested, processes requests CDs or films from doctors’ offices, etc. Imports CDs and digitizes film. Other duties as assigned. Prepares the following day’s schedule, obtains medical record numbers, and provides the schedule to technologists as needed.
Receives referrals from provider offices for imaging services and schedules patients for imaging procedures in a timely manner. Confirms future appointments with scheduled patients. Maintains current patient records and checks film in and out as determined by facility. Coordinates schedules with the radiologist on duty and other departments.

Physical Requirements –
Pay Range:$21.81 – $34.89
