Nurses Aides - Caregiver Colorado Springs, Littleton and Denver

AKOTA Home Care has been serving the Colorado Springs, Littleton and Denver area and we are family own and operated, leveraging over 31 years of home care experience in the home health care industry by providing quality care one - on - one patient care in the comfort of the client's home.

We are looking for qualified caregivers to meet this growing need, we have flexible schedules from live-in 7 days a week to a variety of Monday through Friday and weekends shifts - full time and part time.

Job Summary:

The Nurse Aide assists with basic patient care activities.

Responsibilities:

* Assists with procedures/plan of care prescribed by a Registered Nurse (RN).

* Assists patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.

* Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions ff.

* Performs light housekeeping duties.

* Provides for patients psychosocial and spiritual needs & special conditions.

* Develops & maintains cooperative and therapeutic relationships with residents, families and other staff

* Responds to patient needs and responds to patient safety concerns promptly

* Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

Required Credential(s):

* Home Health Aides, Nurses Aides and Certified Nurse Aides. Companions with no certifications must at least have 2 years experience

Education & Experience:

* HS or Equivalent

* Previous experience as a CNA is preferred
