Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year.

The Fairfield Inn & Suites located in Littleton, Colorado is looking for a thorough Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor with excellent cleanliness standards to attend all areas of our facilities. This position will supervise the cleanliness and appearance of guest accommodations and public space and ensure that all personnel performing housekeeping operations carry out their assignments in accordance with established standards. The supervisor is responsible for all housekeeping problems, supplies, linen, equipment, work orders to Maintenance Staff and any other duties as assigned or required.

Responsibilities
  • Promote Company Mission, Vision and Core Values.
  • Make morning work assignments to ensure all areas of building are properly maintained in accordance with cleanliness standards.
  • Supervise the activities of all other housekeeping staff engaged in all types of the hotel cleaning operation. Maintain company productivity standards.
  • Train, assign and schedule department personnel. Check quality of work performed and make appropriate corrections and changes as necessary.
  • Handle guest complaints concerning housekeeping service or refer problems to management for adjustment.
  • Requisition uniforms and supplies.
  • Supervise the testing of new products for the housekeeping department.
  • Notify maintenance of any needed repairs.
  • Personally inspect at least 8 rooms daily to ensure cleanliness standards are being met.
  • Help guests and employees in every way possible when called upon and do it willingly and pleasantly.
  • List and itemize lost and found items.
  • Check any vacant rooms for condition and possible occupancy, reporting any discrepancies to Management.
  • Check rooms to ensure that lights are working properly. Inspect for needed repairs such as wallpaper and painting.
  • Supervise the keeping of all storage areas and linen rooms in a clean and satisfactory condition, as well as stocked with needed items.
  • Report and deliver valuable items to the Manager's Office as early as possible after a guest has checked out.
  • Responsible for all linens, blankets, and room supplies; equipment, vacuums, washing machines, dryers, etc.
  • Adhere to all company policies & procedures & brand standards.
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications
  • Must have extensive knowledge of hotel housekeeping and cleaning techniques.
  • Must have the ability to lift, bend, move heavy equipment, and remain on one's feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must have good communication skills;
    Spanish speaking skills a plus.
  • Must be team oriented and dedicated to providing excellent service and ensuring that the brand’s highest standards are met. Each team member is considered a salesperson for the property.
  • Must be able to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays.
  • Any hotel employee may be asked to use their personal vehicle for business purposes at any time.
