* Job Summary:

** Elliott Davis is a leading provider of strategic finance, operations and CFO services to private equity portfolio and high-growth companies throughout the lower middle market and middle market. Our team of experts partners with portfolio company leadership and investors to transform legacy finance functions into the storyteller and strategic driver for their businesses. We also partner with founder and family-owned businesses as they prepare for a capital  this role, you will lead data, analytics, and finance transformation initiatives, helping clients modernize their finance functions, elevate their reporting and FP&A capabilities, and build scalable data infrastructures that support visibility, decision‑making, and operational alignment.

You will guide clients through key inflection points—such as due diligence, post‑close integration, rapid scaling, or a future capital event—by developing analytics frameworks, implementing BI tools, optimizing data flows, and designing reporting environments that tell the story of the business. You will serve as a strategic partner across operations, sales, technology, and executive leadership, enabling smarter decisions through enhanced data accessibility, forecasting, and insights.
** Responsibilities**:
* Deliver timely, high‑quality client service that exceeds expectations.
* Lead multiple data‑driven finance transformation engagements, overseeing work streams such as:  + Analytics in support of QoE and FP&A during due diligence  + FP&A modernization  + BI/reporting implementation  + Data architecture and systems connectivity  + Operational analytics and performance dashboards
* Build integrated data and reporting environments (e.g., Power BI, system APIs, data cubes) that enhance transparency, accuracy, and timeliness across the organization.
* Develop and implement scalable forecasting, budgeting, and KPI frameworks aligned to strategic goals.
* Identify and close data and reporting gaps; design processes that ensure accurate and consistent data capture across systems.
* Translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights, narratives, and recommendations for executive teams and investors.
* Partner with cross‑functional leaders to integrate finance data with operations, sales, and technology to improve end‑to‑end visibility.
* Manage client relationships, project economics, and resource planning.
* Support business development efforts, including proposal creation, thought leadership, and market presence.
* Ensure deliverables meet firm quality standards and are completed on time.
** Requirements:
*** 5+ years of experience in public accounting, consulting, FP&A, operational finance, analytics, or M&A; experience with PE‑backed or high‑growth companies preferred.
* Demonstrated experience transforming finance functions to be
** data‑centric
** and
** insight‑driven**, with strong FP&A and analytical capabilities.
* Hands‑on experience with modern data and analytics technologies (e.g., building dashboards, integrating system APIs, structuring data models, designing KPIs).
* Comfort with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent; interest in leveraging automation, AI, and emerging finance technologies.
* Skills or experience with SQL, Python, or similar programming languages are a plus, especially for advanced analytics, data modeling, and automation.
