Cybersecurity, Systems Engineer
Overview
The Cyber Security Engineer/ISSE will coordinate with multiple teams across the program in an Agile team environment, interface with Operations, Development, Deployment, Systems Engineering, and collaborate with government personnel, customer partners, subcontractors, local engineers, and geographically dispersed teammates to provide secure systems and new capabilities.
Responsibilities- POA&M Workoff Plan & Execution
- EVSS Admin/System Vulnerability Audit/Analysis/Compliance/Remediation
- eMASS Body of Evidence (BoE) Definition for customer assets as driven by change requests
- Demonstration Test Plan (DTP) definition and execution
- System Change Request and Software Build Technical Investigations
- New and Version Upgraded COTS/GOTS Software Review and Security Risk assessment
- Daily System Audit Analysis and Log Review
IATT/CONOPS definitions and approvals - Security Design and Architecture
- STIG Hardening Guidance
- Security Test Definition, Execution, and Gov. Witness Testing and Test Report Generation
- Govt. Audit Support
- Security Tool Design and System integration Support
- DoD 8140 Qualified IAT Level II certification or higher.
- Experience with Authorization and Accreditation processes using Risk Management Framework methodologies.
- Experience with DoD cybersecurity requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Engineering and/or CAMEO Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Git Ops tools (Ansible, Packer, Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD)
- Experience with Offensive or Defensive Cyber Operations and respective tools (Snort, Suricata, Zeek/Bro)
- Experience with Git source control and Gitlab CI/CD Pipelines
- Experience with Software Assurance (SBOMs, Static Code Analysis)
- Experience with Zero Trust Architecture to support DoD Mandates
- Ability to review and provide input to system requirements based on existing cybersecurity posture
- Develop specialized cyber software solutions and tools based on mission requirements
This position requires a government security clearance and the candidate must be a US Citizen. Clearance level: TS/SCI.
Pay & BenefitsAnnual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC is $82,900 - $146,165 (excluding most major metropolitan areas). For other states, the salary will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Onsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Schedule:
9x80 with every other Friday off.
