This position requires ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position will perform duties as an Information Systems Security Officer at the Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton, Colorado. Candidates will typically have a Bachelor's Degree and 1+ years of experience. The work that ISSOs do can be summarized in this way:

Key Responsibilities of this role includes:

- Support day-to-day information system security operations including hardware and software implementations.

- Carry out technical security administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer cybersecurity requirements, primarily the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

- Upkeep, monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events.

- Document compliance actions within the approved automated compliance tracking system or develop a plan of actions and milestones (POA&M) with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to address non-compliance in the allotted time frame.

- Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices outlined in the security plan.

- Auditing is a large part of this role's responsibility

Basic Qualifications:

- Ability to obtain SECRET clearance prior to start.

- Have and maintain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or Higher or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

- Hands-on experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools.

- Basic experience with developing, reviewing, and maintaining RMF artifacts. Desired

Skills:

- Information Systems auditing experience.

- Experience working with ICD 503 and/or DCSA DAAG (formerly DAAPM)

- Experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools such as STIG Viewer, Nessus, and Splunk.

- Experience working with eMASS.

- Experience performing; security system hardening, analysis, vulnerability management, DISA STIGs.

- Prior Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) or System Administration experience.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 1+ years of professional experience. Security Clearance Statement:

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $76,500 - $134,895. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
