This position requires ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
It is for an Information Systems Security Officer at Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton, Colorado. Candidates typically need a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 1 year of experience.
- Support day‑to‑day information system security operations, including hardware and software implementations.
- Carry out technical security administration of information systems in accordance with internal LM and customer cybersecurity requirements, primarily the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Maintain, monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events.
- Document compliance actions within the approved automated compliance tracking system or develop a plan of actions and milestones (POA&M) with the Information Systems Security Manager to address non‑compliance within the allotted time frame.
- Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices outlined in the security plan.
- Perform auditing responsibilities.
- Directly contribute to national security efforts by engaging in all aspects of the cyber discipline.
- Participate in a work‑life balanced environment with flexible hours and a family‑first culture.
- Ability to obtain SECRET clearance prior to start.
- Maintain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Hands‑on experience with industry‑standard Information Assurance tools.
- Basic experience developing, reviewing, and maintaining RMF artifacts.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Information Systems auditing experience.
- Experience working with ICD 503 and/or DCSA DAAG.
- Experience with industry‑standard Information Assurance tools such as STIG Viewer, Nessus, and Splunk.
- Experience with eMASS.
- Experience performing security system hardening, analysis, vulnerability management, DISA STIGs.
- Prior Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) or System Administration experience.
- Related educational or professional experience in cyber security.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
