Computer Systems Security Associate Leader is a position at Lockheed Martin that requires overseeing all COMSEC activities for a geographic/functional region in support of critical program needs. This role ensures the protection of classified information and enables reliable, trusted communications over commercial networks.
Responsibilities- Direct all COMSEC activities for a geographic/functional region, coordinating with local command structures and executing approved COMSEC plans while adapting to local operational constraints.
- Provide daily guidance to COMSEC Account Managers and Alternates, create personnel assignments, and verify completion of required training and documentation.
- Conduct and oversee spot‑checks/inspections to ensure proper material handling, safe‑combination security, and full compliance with all applicable NSA and customer requirements.
- Maintain 100% accountability of classified and unclassified COMSEC Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCIs); track receipt, issue, storage, transfer, destruction, and enforce combination‑change policy. Perform semi‑annual inventories in accordance with NSA and customer policy.
- Disseminate, inventory, order, receive, process, wrap, mark, and destroy COMSEC keying material and related documents through authorized channels; manage common fill devices (SKLs) and CCI equipment configuration, loading, and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate COMSEC records, enter/extract data in the DIAS/KMI system for all physical and electronic transactions, and promptly report incidents or irregularities to leadership per CNSSI
4003/NSA guidelines. - Perform courier duties and adhere to all NSA and customer‑specific security procedures for handling, transporting, and safeguarding COMSEC material.
- Provide tailored COMSEC support to meet program needs, analyze and document encryption‑device audit results for user compliance, and conduct user training, briefings, acknowledgment forms, and turnover debriefings.
- Top Secret security clearance prior to start.
- DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II certification.
- Completed NSA COMSEC course or equivalent KMI (KOAM) certification.
- Familiarity with the application of the National Security Agency (NSA) 3-16 COMSEC directives, CNSSI manuals 4001, 4003, 4004.1, 4005, AFMAN 17-1302, OSD's, and NISPOM.
- 5+ years of COMSEC experience.
- Prior leadership experience.
- Familiarity with one or more service/agency COMSEC programs.
- Ability to apply knowledge of government security requirements in a complex multi-level secure environment to ensure program compliance in non-routine situations.
- Knowledge of cleared contractor operations: computer, physical, technical and personnel security requirements.
- Highly proficient in written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on clear and cogent presentation of complex information to a variety of diverse audiences.
- Knowledge and experience managing classified programs.
- Demonstrated success in well‑reasoned decision making and reasoning in applying solutions to problems.
- Work independently to identify, assess & resolve unique security situations with innovative solutions geared to facilitate contract performance within the bounds of security requirements.
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Top Secret.

ScheduleOnsite Full‑time. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off.
