Position Overview
Enterprise Operations (EO) position supports the Lockheed Martin Space division located in Denver, CO. The selected candidate will provide support to critical programs under the responsibility of the Space Division, ensuring that Lockheed Martin IT systems are managed, controlled, and compliant with the Corporate Information Protection Manuals (CIPM). This includes upgrades, operations and maintenance, hardware and software installations, service requests (servers, workstations, containers, networking, and storage), and continuity of operations (backups and verified restore capabilities).
ResponsibilitiesThe chosen candidate will utilize system administration and architecture skills to serve as primary IT support for several classified environments.
Basic Qualifications- Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Poly
- U.S. Citizenship required for access to the work facility
- Must have a DoD 8572 qualified certification such as CompTIA Security+
- 5+ years of experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux server environments and related software applications
- Solid understanding of Linux file permissions and log‑file troubleshooting tactics
- Direct work experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Ansible, Python, Bash, Power Shell)
- Demonstrated experience effectively performing in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with DISA STIGs and security hardening of OS and applications
- Experience performing diagnostics and troubleshooting network issues
- Experience with operating systems life‑cycle management and configuration management (installation/upgrades, system imaging, account management, print services, integration with Domain Services, hardware modernization, performance monitoring, etc.)
- Experience with vulnerability remediation and security management (system hardening, log management, configuration management – e.g., Nessus, Trellix, Splunk, ACAS, SCAP)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability and willingness to accommodate occasional off‑shift hours
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI Poly
- 5+ years of experience administering Linux and Windows server environments
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Power Shell)
- Experience administering Net App storage devices
- Advanced IT certification such as RHCSA, MSCE, or CISSP
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
PayThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC is $104,500 – $184,115. For other states, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location.
