Position Purpose
The Data, Reporting & AI Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise reporting, analytics, data, and artificial intelligence solutions that enable informed decision-making across LONG Building Technologies. This role replaced the traditional Report Developer role and expanded its scope to support LONG’s evolving data and AI strategy. They will partner with business stakeholders to deliver reporting and analytical capabilities using Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and related technologies, while establishing governed data models, enterprise reporting standards, and scalable analytics solutions.
The position also supports LONG's artificial intelligence strategy through the development of Microsoft Copilot solutions, AI agents, and natural language experiences that improve access to information, increase operational efficiency, and drive business value while maintaining data governance, security, and responsible AI standards.

Pay Range: $100,000 - $170,000 annually

Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, AI Agents, and scorecards and support their widespread adoption across LONG
- Design, build and maintain enterprise data models, semantic data models, and analytical data structures that provide consistent business metrics and definitions.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and data warehouse solutions.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable analytics solutions.
- Guide and support self-service reporting initiatives while ensuring best practices regarding data governance and accuracy to facilitate continuous trust in enterprise reporting data.
- Develop ERP analytics supporting operational, financial, and strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and administration of LONG's Microsoft Fabric data platform.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, performance, and security across reporting environments.
- Document data sources, business definitions, and reporting standards.
- Support modernization efforts by migrating legacy reporting solutions to Power BI and Fabric.
