This role is for the professional who brings structure, coordination, and follow-through to high-stakes projects. As a Mitigation Project Manager, you will oversee projects from start to finish, lead field teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and according to plan.

The Mitigation Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of mitigation projects while maintaining safety, quality, financial control, and strong relationships.
What You Will Be Responsible For Project Planning & Execution- Manage the full lifecycle of mitigation projects, from scope development through closeout
- Interpret work orders, job scopes, estimates, and insurance documentation to build clear project plans
- Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and in compliance with company standards
- Partner closely with the Mitigation Manager, estimating team, and accounting
- Supervise and support Mitigation Leads, Technicians, and laborers
- Provide direction, coaching, and accountability to field teams
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure their work meets quality and safety expectations
- Foster a consistent, professional team environment aligned with company values
- Review job scopes and budgets with the estimating team
- Track labor hours, materials, and project costs to maintain profitability
- Prepare and submit billing documentation, including change orders and pay applications
- Partner with Accounting to collect down payments and follow up on accounts receivable
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, insurance adjusters, and vendors
- Provide clear, timely updates on project progress, challenges, and next steps
- Host project kick-off meetings and participate in Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings
- Manage expectations through consistent and professional communication
- Maintain accurate job records including daily logs, photos, field reports, and safety documentation
- Enforce OSHA and company safety policies, including PPE compliance
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and scope adherence
- Identify and escalate scope changes, risks, or unforeseen conditions to leadership
- Resolve jobsite issues quickly to protect schedule, quality, and safety

Required Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred - 3–5 years of experience in construction, restoration, or mitigation with project management responsibility
- IICRC certifications required (WRT, FSRT, AMRT)
- Demonstrated experience leading crews and managing subcontractors
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with job management and time-tracking software
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Field-based role with regular travel between job sites
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions
- Salary range: $80,000 – $100,000 annually
