We are seeking an Electromechanical / Property Coordinator Technician Specialist to perform a wide variety of task requiring mechanical fabrication, Property and asset tracking and test skills to support lab operations.
This position is for an mid-level Electromechanical / Property Coordinator Technician Specialist. Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• Manufacturing and test of ground support equipment, assembly and test of complex assemblies/ subsystems and spacecraft system integration and test support.
• Build, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical ground support equipment.
• Fabricate ground and flight wire harnesses, and perform continuity and other in-process checks using appropriate equipment and procedures.
• Inventory and inspect parts for compliance with work instruction and other documentation.
• Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
• Assemble detail parts/ components into an end product following work instructions (structures, mechanisms, subsystems and systems).
• Align, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools, and fixtures.
• Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of parts, assemblies, or systems under simulated operating conditions, and record results.
• Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems.
• Be able to give/take work direction to/from team members. The test lab is a 24 x 7, 365 days per year operation. Therefore, off shifts, weekend, and holiday support will often be required. Shift assignment is on a by management decision. Benefits of Employment:

Basic Qualifications:
• High School diploma, or equivalent
experience/combined education, with additional
technical training sufficient enough to perform required job duties
• Must have and maintain a Secret clearance
• Must be work flexible, provide after hours
support if required, and work overtime as
required.
• Must be able to use and understand
calibrated hand tools and equipment such as
calipers, micrometers and gauges in a lab/test
environment.
• Ability to work in a clean environment that
involves wearing smocks and gloves for
extended periods of time.
• Basic understanding & reading of engineering
and installation drawings.
• Basic computer skills including experience
using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
